WXTrak is a weather information encoder which, when connected to a compatible weather staion and a radio, will transmit the weather data at an adjustable rate. It is a construction project based on the TinyTrak3, and provides an inexpensive way to transmit weather information without the need for a full TNC.

WXTrak is configured by connecting to a computer's serial port, and running a simple configuration tool which allows setting of all user options. It transmits the APRS weather protocol. Since it is designed around the TinyTrak3, It is available with an optional case.

Currently supported weather stations include the Radio Shack WX200, the Oregon Scientific WM-918, and the Peet Brothers Ultimeter 100, Ultimeter 800, Ultimeter 2000, and Ultimeter 2100.

Davis weather stations with the WeatherLink APRS adapter can use TinyPack to transmit weather data for APRS.
